ECO SAILING CRUISE EGADI ISLANDS
A sailing holiday is eco-friendly: sailing is the most sustainable way to enjoy the sea!
Sailing is a magical experience, in the truest sense of the word: our subconscious perceives sailing as a mental and psycho-physical reset.
Sailing is a true journey into our inner self, a truly magical act!
Leave behind the usual traditional holidays and discover the freedom that only a boat can offer!
The Egadi archipelago is located at the western tip of Sicily, a few miles from Trapani, and is made up of the islands of Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, the islet of Formica, and the rock of Maraone.
The Egadi islands are nestled in beautiful crystalline waters and are home to a rich and varied marine flora and fauna. Not only that, they have been a crossroads for peoples throughout history.
Places where time seems to have stood still in the small villages, in the remains of the tuna fisheries, in the fishermen's nets, in the chapels of the green-enamelled churches, on the islands that were once the scene of battles and Arab and Phoenician influences.

ITINERARY:
-
Day 1: Trapani
Trapani's origins are linked to its geographical conformation and mythological legends, but the first historical traces date back to the Elymians, a people who settled in western Sicily before the 11th century BC.
The city later became an important commercial port under the Phoenicians, thanks to its strategic position, and over the centuries it was a key center for the Romans, Arabs (who called it Itrabinis), and Normans.
Legend has it that the god Cronus (or Saturn, in Latin) lost his sickle while sailing away from Sicily, and falling into the sea, the sickle transformed into the Trapani peninsula, hence the Greek name Drepanon, meaning sickle.
WHAT TO SEE IN TRAPANI:
The famous Pink Sunsets
The historic center with its churches and characteristic streets.
The seafront promenade along the coast.
Torre di Ligny
The overnight stay is on board a boat at the port of Trapani.

-
Day 2: Favignana
After breakfast, we set sail for Favignana, the largest of the Aegadian Islands, formerly called Aegusa and known for its butterfly shape.
During the voyage, you can admire and stop in some of Favignana's most beautiful coves: Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra, Bue Marino, Lido Burrone, Cala Rotonda, Previto, and Scalo Cavallo (depending on the winds).
A stop in one of the coves is planned for a dip or to enjoy an aperitif on board.
The late afternoon can continue through the streets of Favignana's village, or with an e-bike excursion to discover coves and bays.
Favignana offers a unique blend of crystal-clear sea, nature, history, and gastronomy: the former Tonnara Florio and the Palazzina Florio are not to be missed.
For adventure lovers, the climb up to the Castle of Santa Caterina is ideal. The trail takes about 45 minutes to hike, but once you reach the top, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the entire archipelago. Dinner will be served on land.
An alternative is to stay in one of the coves for an aperitif and then continue with dinner on board.
You'll spend the night on board in the port of Favignana (* or, weather permitting, in the harbour).

-
Day 3: Levanzo
After breakfast in town, with cannoli and pistachio coffee, we set sail for Levanzo, the smallest and most romantic of the Aegadian islands.
Wild, solitary, lapped by crystal-clear waters, ancient and immersed in a dimension where time seems to have stood still.
We'll stop at the most famous coves, Cala Fridda and Cala Minnola, to enjoy lunch on board with a unique view.
We'll then sail towards Trapani to begin the return to port, enjoying a wonderful pink sunset!
Return to port around 5-6 PM.
