In the stretch of coast from San Vito Lo Capo to Castellammare del Golfo, 7 kilometers of uncontaminated nature: la Zingaro Nature Reserve, one of the most famous in Italy;
The ancient Greeks and the Latins called it Cetaria due to the abundance of tuna fish found in its waters.
The first beach you come across when entering from the north side is the largest in the Zingaro Nature Reserve and also the busiest in summer. The Tonnarella dell'Uzzo, to follow: Cala Torre dell'Uzzo, Cala Marinella, Cala Beretta, Cala della Disa, Cala del Varo and Cala della Capreria, very close to Scopello.
The Tonnara di Scopello, with its Faraglioni, is the main attraction of the coast, especially at sunset!
Telling the beauty of the Zingaro Nature Reserve is not easy.
Small bays paved with white pebbles, a sea that is tinged with unexpected shades of green and blue during the day, sharp rocks that separate the different beaches, Mediterranean scrub that seems to dive into the sea and ancient farmhouses built on the rock.
A mix of nature and the discreet presence of man.
The coves follow one another mingling with incomparable scents and colors, showing everything
their charm.
Admiring the Zingaro Nature Reserve from the sea is an exciting experience because it allows you to grasp the majesty of the place with a single glance. The high peaks of the Zingaro slope down to the sea, the green of the Mediterranean maquis mixes with the red of the rocks and plunges into the blue of its splendid waters.
The idea of a boat trip is excellent.
You can rent a dinghy and enjoy the day independently, or participate in aboat excursion booking one with daily departure from San Vito Lo Capo.

⚓ ITINERARY:
We set sail for the Riserva dello Zingaro, off the coast we skirt Alcamo Marina, Castellammare del Golfo, the first coves of the coast such as Cala, Bianca, Cala Rossa, to then make the first swim stop in Cala dell'Uzzo, where you can explore the caves and the small white pebble beach. We will then move to Cala del Varo, to discover the natural caves and to enjoy a light lunch with Mediterranean flavors on board.
During the swimming breaks we will enjoy the sea in total relaxation, without stress and without marking the stops with whistles or deafening music.
The last swimming break will be dedicated to the famous TONNARA DI SCOPELLO with its Faraglioni and with the atmosphere of the evening lights.
We begin the return to Balestrate Sailing and playing with the waves and perhaps meeting dolphins!
⚓ Ports e Departure time:
From the Marina of Balestrate (PA) : Check in at 9.00 - We set sail at 9.30 - Return expected around 6.00 pm
From the tourist port of Castellammare del Golfo (TP) with mooring on the quay to embark guests (On request only) The embarkation time from Castellammare del Golfo is 10.00. Return scheduled for 17.00.
⚓ WHAT WE INCLUDE
-Fuel
-a prepared, informal and welcoming crew who love the sea and live it in an eco-sustainable way.
-Light luncheson board dai Mediterranean flavors, water, fruit, soft drinks, Sicilian wine. Meals are freshly prepared with local ingredients.
-On the boat there is an external shower, space on board in the bow where you can sunbathe.
- On board you can use the bathroom on deck. Space in the dinette where you can place your bags.
⚓ SAFETY ON BOARD
The sailing boat is sanitized before and after the tour with certified sanitary products. On board you will find hand sanitizing gel.
⚓ WHAT TO BRING:
A personal beach towel (to be used on outdoor seating and when you lie down in the sun), personal mask and fins, non-spray, non-oily and non-polluting sunscreen creams, because they could stain the glass resin of the boat and could grease and make it slippery the surface of the boat.
Do not leave your personal belongings on the seats or on the deck of the boat during navigation because they impede the maneuvers for the sails.

For this tour we use various types of sailing boats, collaborating with some of our experienced shipowners/sailors, in Balestrate and Castellammare del Golfo.
We can welcome groups (up to 15 people) or couples for an exclusive.
