Excursion on a sailing boat to discover the marvelous coves of Favignana and Levanzo with a stop for a swim and relaxation in the crystal clear waters of the Egadi islands. A full day boat tour with the wind at your back! Departure from Trapani and once the sails have been hoisted we will sail to Favignana where we will visit some of the most beautiful and famous coves such as Cala Azzurra, Cala Rossa, Bue Marino, Cala Preveto, Scalo Cavallo, Cala del Pozzo. An unforgettable day with diving, snorkeling, sun and relaxation and a tasting lunch of typical products offered on board. After the lunch break departure and navigation towards Levanzo to discover the other beautiful coves of the Egadi. After the last swimming break departure for the return to the port of Trapani.
The Egadi archipelago is located at the western end of Sicily, a few miles from Trapani, and is made up of the islands of Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo. The archipelago is a popular destination for snorkelling, diving and sailing enthusiasts .
FAVIGNANA-"The Egadi butterfly"
The island of Favignana, the capital and largest island of the Egadi archipelago is defined as a butterfly (with outstretched wings) due to its peculiar shape divided into two parts by the hill of Santa Caterina. Called Aegusa by the Greeks, it owes its current name to the Favonio wind, which always laps it, making its climate mild and fresh.
Bays, sandy or rocky beaches, beaches with fine golden sand are Cala Azzurra, Lido Burrone, Calamoni, then there are also suggestive coves of sand and pebbles located in the area of Punta Lunga, del Preveto, dei Faraglioni and Punta Sottile.
Cala Rossa mythically takes its name, like so many places in our Sicily, from terrible and sad facts as if to reiterate that even in the worst situation we always manage to get the best out of it.
Here in 241 before Christ on March 10th, a terrible naval battle took place, so many were the victims that the entire bay turned blood red.
LEVANZO
Levanzo is a special island, those who stop there must deeply love the sea, but must also love the earth, must have the taste for experiencing nature, for walks or mule rides along the paths that climb up the mountain, must love people, must know how to be with people, without any prejudice, know how to listen to them and know how to tell each other, but with discretion
In order to preserve the natural beauty of the archipelago, the Marine Protected Area (AMP) of the Egadi Islands was recently established, the largest marine reserve in Europe.

The Tour is carried out with a sailboat in which a maximum of 8/10 people are accommodated on board (depending on the sailboat used), therefore in a pleasant atmosphere without chaos.
You can enjoy a day of healthy relaxation in contact with the sea, with the wind that moves the sails, with the beauty of crystalline and turquoise waters.
This tour will allow you to spend an unforgettable day enjoying all the beauties of the Egadi Islands and the comfort that a sailing boat can offer.
⚓ TIMETABLE AND PORT OF EMBARKATION:
Check in at 9.10 - We set sail at 9.30 - Return scheduled for 5.30/6.00 pm.
Port of embarkation :Marina di Trapani (google maps directions will be sent to you).
CAR PARKING:We recommend putting your car on the blue lines in front of the boarding, with a daily ticket from the automatic machine (about €4.00 per day).
⚓ ITINERARY:
We set sail from the port of Trapani, en route to Favignana for about an hour of navigation, during which the captain will share his experience with you, through stories, legends and curiosities of the Sicilian territory and above all of the Egadi Islands or will invite you to try some maneuvers at the helm or hoist the sails.
Sailing in the direction of the island of Favignana, the first swimming stop will take place in one of these coves: Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra, Cala Rotonda, Lido Burrone (depending on the winds), in total tranquility and without haste you can enjoy the crystalline waters of these famous coves, swimming or snorkelling (bring your mask!)
On board, you can enjoy an aperitif with a glass of bubbly or Sicilian wine and some traditional Mediterranean snacks and light lunch with fresh seasonal fruit.
In the afternoon we will be heading to Levanzo for a couple of stops in the most famous coves, such as Cala Fridda or Cala Minnola (always depending on the winds), to then begin the return to the port of Sailing Trapani!

Use of toilet on board, external fresh water shower, use of the blanket for your bags or to change your costume, large deckhouse for sunbathing, aft platform for your dives, the ladder to get into the water, comfortable external seats, a cockpit with a removable table, ample space on the deck where you can sunbathe and enjoy an exciting sail!
⚓WHAT TO BRING
Please always bring a beach towel, to be spread on the deck of the boat, bring non-oily sunscreen as they make the surface of the boat slippery and therefore dangerous.
Mask and snorkel for your swims in the blue waters of the Egadi!

⚓ REFUND POLICY
The excursion is carried out only if the sea, wind and weather conditions are suitable for navigation. If for some reason the weather is not suitable for navigation, the tour will be canceled and/or postponed to another date and the amount paid will be refunded .
